Bring the Latinx theatre commons Community to You

The Commons isn’t tied to one place.
It’s built wherever people gather to share stories, ideas, and experiences. If you’re interested in organizing a local event, we’ll help you take the first step.
LTC doesn’t have a paid membership structure. There’s no application to join the community. This movement has always grown through relationships, word of mouth, and people who care enough to bring others along with them.
Whether you’re a theatremaker, a scholar, an educator, an advocate, or someone who believes Latinx/e theatre deserves more space, there’s a way for you to be part of this.
Bring Latinx Theatre Commons to Your Community
You don’t have to wait for us to come to you.
One of the things that makes LTC a movement, not just an organization, is that the community creates it. If you want to host a local meetup, a watch party, a reading group, or a community gathering around Latinx/e theatre, we want to support you in doing that.
Below is guidance for organizing your own LTC-affiliated event: how to plan it, how to promote it, and how to connect it back to the broader community.
Follow Us/ Tag Us
We’re building our community on Mastodon, and you can find us on Instagram and Facebook too. Follow, share, and tag us when you’re talking about Latinx/e theatre.
When you’re at an LTC event, posting about Latinx theatre, or sharing something our community would care about, tag us. We’re watching, and we love to amplify.

Share Our Resources
Looking for people or places to connect?
The Artist Directory helps you discover Latinx/e actors, directors, designers, producers, scholars, and other theatre professionals.
The Resource Library connects you with theatres, museums, nonprofits, educational institutions, and other organizations that support Latinx/e theatre.
Both are free to explore, built for the community, and meant to be shared.
Stay in the Loop
Two ways to keep up with LTC.
The LTC Newsletter
Our newsletter goes out monthly and is one of the best ways to stay connected with what’s happening across the Latinx/e theatre community events, opportunities, resources, and updates from LTC and beyond.
Share your news with the LTC community.
We welcome community submissions; including upcoming events, opportunities, job postings, and news relevant to Latinx/e theatremakers. Complete the submission form at least 10 weeks before the end of the month you’d like your announcement to appear.
Follow Us On Mastadon
LTC is on Mastodon; an open, community-owned social platform that reflects our values as a commons-based movement. Follow us there for real-time updates, shares, and conversation.
As Latinx Theatre Commons continues evolving as a community-led movement, we’re also rethinking where and how we gather online. For years, many of us have connected through platforms like Instagram and Facebook, and we’ll continue sharing updates there during this transition. At the same time, we’re intentionally investing in ethical, community-centered spaces that better reflect our values of collaboration, accessibility, and shared stewardship.
We invite you to come with us as we build the future of our digital community.
